The calm before the storm;

Heaven and hell colliding!

Exploding sparks of electricity in my veins,

Silently creeping, till chaos ensues,

Thunder clapping as lightning carves the sky!

Opening up the heavens,

Raining down on me,

Memories of The Storm Within Me!

Warily looking back on

Intimidating circumstances that once plagued me,

Truly a different person I see;

Hidden and sheltered from the worst of life.

Interestingly changed, turned to a new leaf.

Never regretting The Storms of the Past.

Magnificently confident now I’ve become,

Eternally grateful for the Storms that shaped me!
